We present a new RAVE on sistaz podcast with SOULKATE — a DJ, music lover, and passionate collector of sounds, whose journey through electronic music is deeply connected to live instruments, emotion, and creative exploration. Active behind the decks since 2017, she has been steadily building her place within the Czech electronic music scene while continuously expanding her musical horizons.
Her connection to music began long before DJing. Starting with the flute and later studying piano at art school, she developed a strong musical foundation that still influences her approach today. Beyond mixing records, she spends her time playing piano, synthesizers, and the handpan, constantly exploring new ways to express herself through sound.
Music is not only her passion but also her profession. Alongside her DJ career, Soulkate works with Dance Radio CZ and Prague's iconic ROXY club, while also providing PR support for various music projects and events. This unique combination gives her a broad perspective on electronic music culture, both on and off the dancefloor.
As a DJ, Soulkate is known for creating atmospheric and emotionally engaging journeys. She performs regularly in Prague's underground clubs and at events across the Czech Republic. Her musical path has also taken her abroad, including performances in London with Smitten Parties and Protocol Club London, as well as a memorable appearance at Happy Buddha Club on Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam.
Together with vocalist Witty, she is currently developing original music productions, bringing together electronic sounds, live instrumentation, and personal storytelling. For Soulkate, music production is an exciting challenge and a way to transform emotions, ideas, and experiences into something tangible.
