Acid Techno duo Aggie Acid Line and Bassline Ben are both from Devon with a passion for playing vinyl, often playing B2B and collaborating on music projects.
They have recently joined Techno.FM with their new Acid Techno radio show, Route303, on the first Thursday of every month starting on 6 June 2024, from 7-9pm (www.techno.fm).
For the last four years they have also co-hosted, performed, and have had numerous guests on their monthly Acid Techno radio show, Acid Scum, on the third Wednesday of every month, 7-9pm, (www.safehouseradio.co.uk) including Acid Techno pioneers Aaron Liberator, Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, The Geezer, and Gizelle.
Aggie Acid Line and Bassline Ben regularly play on other radio shows and guest live streams in addition to playing at clubs and festivals in the UK. Their most recent highlights include playing at the Stay Up Forever 30th Anniversary celebrations Part 2 at Fold, London, and at the Acid Leak, Boomtown festival, last year. They are also part of the 303 Vinyl Junkies crew with Andy-S and Teresa Deakin, with events showcasing primarily Techno and Acid Techno vinyl DJs, whilst raising funds for charity.
Aggie Acid Line and Bassline Ben have had track releases in collaboration with Jamie Tik Tok Taylor/Ektik (RIP) on SUFSUPERLTD and Corrosive Records. Aggie Acid Line and Bassline Ben have also teamed up with Polish Acid Techno producer Ciuciek, to form the ‘Acid Vigilantes’ trio, with track releases on Acid Addict Records, Stay Up Forever, SUFSUPERLTD, Avinit Records, and We Are Acid Family (label collaboration between Flatlife Records and Stay Up Forever).
Aggie Acid Line and Bassline Ben have both also collaborated with Sam DFL on SUFSUPERLTD, and more recently with Benji303 on Acid People For Palestine (label collaboration with Stay Up Forever and Chocis Chewns) to raise money for children Palestine and Free Palestine movement.
