Annie Hill

Annie Hill is a Finnish DJ, producer, and curator whose sound moves through the deep pulse of modern European techno. After several years living in Italy and performing across Europe, she has returned to Finland carrying a musical language shaped by movement, underground spaces, and evolving club cultures.

Her musical identity lives within the tension of groove and hypnosis. Rooted in deep, raw, and driving techno around 138–145 BPM, her sets unfold through layered rhythm and controlled intensity. Annie’s approach is focused and absorbing, using four-deck mixing to weave textures, pressure, and subtle rhythmic shifts into a continuous, living flow. The result is a dancefloor experience that feels physical and introspective - a space where people can lose themselves and reconnect through rhythm.

Beginning her journey eight years ago behind the decks and soon after in music production, Annie’s work has already reached an international audience. Her productions have appeared on labels such as Nervous Records and Kneaded Pains, reflecting her commitment to groove-driven club functionality and hypnotic depth.

Beyond the booth, Annie operates as a cultural builder within the scene. She is the co-founder of WAE Music Group, a collective managing five techno-focused labels dedicated to deep and driving club music. She is also the Co-founder of the event concepts EXISTENCE and ASCENSION, which has hosted events across several European cities building spaces where sound, community, and shared energy can evolve together.

In 2024 she was selected as a Top 10 finalist in the Future Talent Awards by Pete Tong DJ Academy, chosen by artists including Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Adam Beyer, and TSHA - recognition that further sharpened her technical and artistic direction.

Guided by intuition and a curiosity for the unseen, Annie explores the intersections of rhythm, energy, and consciousness. For her, techno is not simply performance but a form of presence - where groove becomes ritual, and the dancefloor becomes a space for connection, transformation, and shared experience.
