We present a new Rave on sistaz podcast with NIKA 77 - she is one of the familiar and respected names of the Czech techno scene, active behind the decks since 1997. Over the years, she has built her place in the underground through dedication, passion, and a genuine love for electronic music. Starting in Prague, her path gradually led her to clubs and festivals across Europe, including Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Belgium, Russia, Croatia, and more.
Techno has always been at the heart of her sound, but she never limits herself to just one direction. Her sets move naturally between hypnotic grooves, deeper atmospheric moments, minimal elements, and sometimes even touches of drum and bass. Every performance feels a little different, shaped by the moment, the crowd, and the space, but always playful, colourful, and full of energy.
Besides playing in clubs and at parties, Nika 77 also creates her own music and stays active in electronic music journalism. She has released tracks on labels such as TechEx, Fylo, and Tekknik Experimental Records, and contributed to compilations like Ambsine Vol. 1. She also writes reviews and articles, supporting and documenting the scene from another perspective.
She is driven by her love for freedom, adventure, and discovering new musical layers. Whether she plays in smaller underground venues or bigger festival environments, her goal stays the same — to create an atmosphere where people can lose themselves in sound and feel connected through music.
