QBall’s style is fast and furious, tight in the mix and definitely worth checking out.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, my guest was unable to join me, so i thought it a great opportunity to delve into the archives and show case some of my favourite releases on the Cluster, and Cluster 909 label. Featuring releases by K.N, Chris Liberator, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, A.p. & Josh Inc. to name but a few, this was a 3 hour banger of a show...
The good people at Techno.FM agreed to let us broadcast our party for you live on New Years Eve 2017/18, so here is a free download of our 4 hour show for your listening pleasure...
First up was Tecnonaut with a gritty old skool vinyl set, before handing over to FunkT resident DJ ODD-E-C for what can only be described as a frenetic hour of relentless driving bass. You can tell he enjoyed this set... New Years Eve was seen in with a back 2 back vinyl set from FunkT boss TGR & Richie Q.
And yes, it was only my second time with a mic, and yes, i need practice... I Know! ;)
Happy New Year!
Peace and Love, Q x
This months show comes live from Audio Farm 'One Tribe' festival, set deep in rural Cheshire, featuring an hour long guest mix to start the show. Spiral Tribe's very own Crystal Distortion popped in and dropped us a set full of funky beats which had us all rocking, before FunkT resident TGR & Richie Q took over for 90 minutes of vinyl mayhem.
Big respect and massive thanks to Audio Farm for their hospitality, and to Crystal Distortion and Jeff 23 for dropping in.
And last, but never least, a massive shout goes out to the Waliens camp, because without them, this show simply wouldn't of happened
My contribution to MixHit Radio's 'Battle of the Sexes part 2'. Starting squatty and working into some screaming 303 madness. I really enjoyed playing this set, my neighbours probably not so much... Help yourselves to a free download (not that id ever charge) :D!
