>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> CY HUMPHREYS [ One Tribe / Audiofarm ] One Tribe and Audio Farm resident, Cy Humphreys has had a small but notable discography with releases that appear alongside the likes of Bicep, Sterac, Jamie Anderson and Dave Angel. Though this didn’t halt him continuing the build up of bleepy boxes and flashing lights, Cy decided to continue with his band practice. BUMP
Despite a DJing career that began with him playing breaks and electro as a resident in various small Shoreditch clubs (We Have Fun; Glue) in the early years of the 21st century, techno has been a constant in bump's life. It began with "a scary 6th form girl with a mohawk" loaning him Depeche Mode's 'Speak & Spell' when he was 13, resurfaced through Autechre and Aphex Twin in the 90's and - after ten years lost in house music - finally reached his decks with Reiner Weichold's remix of Format-B's 'Bamboo' and the work of Stephan Bodzin.

bump today allows his mixes to follow the rhythm, mood and energy, wherever it may lead, as long as the dancefloor is moving.
He is grateful that Nexus have overlooked his stated love of 00's Drumcode to allow him to share this mix with you...
