Opening the show is our resident Betty Bloop.

This month we have a bit of a special. With Archtype One @ WaV in Liverpool quickly approaching, we’re positively bubbling with excitement here at UT.

With WaV quickly gaining a reputation, in a city steeped with musical heritage, as the place for underground techno, it’s rivalled only by its powerhouse line up of some of the finest DJ’s & producers we have on these shores.

We thought it would be a good idea to invite the minds behind Archetye, residents Dowdzwell and KwirK on to the show. Both prolific producers of hard, pounding techno, to say we’re looking forward to seeing them play is an understatement!

Dowdzwell has been releasing quality hard techno for a number of years now. With releases on Refined Format, Blue Monkey, and most recently a superb contribution to a VA vinyl release on the legendary Hydraulx imprint.

KwirK has been relentlessly unleashing his hard techno sound at venues across the North West for a while now. After his set at NST, we’re looking forward to hearing him hammering away at the tunnels of WaV.

Joined by D.A.V.E. the Drummer, the machine that is Skirra, and Collide boss Michaela, Archetype One is not a night you want to miss!
