Steve ‘Bear’ Sas – Bio
Steve “ Bear” Sas is a Prince in the urban forest!
From early on, Steve has been an integral part of Montreal’s world re-known house music scene. From his beginnings as doorman at the cities hottest clubs, Bear soon migrated to his natural habitat in the DJ booth. From the moment he stepped behind the decks, Bear began to build his rock solid following. In the 8 years he has been spinning, Bear has had numerous residencies including to present day the world famous Club Stereo. He has been playing to glowing reviews – both from the dance floor, and the host of world class talent he has had the privilege to play with – including, Angel Moraes, Hector Romero, Junior Vasquez, Hex Hector, David Morales and Victor Calderone to name a few.
In addition to his work behind the decks, Bear’s work in the studio is beginning to capture the attention of the industry. His chunky, funky debut remixes for Montreal’s Redzonerouge of ‘Shawn Christopher, Don’t Loose the Magic, - has been very well received, and since has done remixes for Angel Moraes, Danny Buddah Morales, Junior Vasquez and has been licensed to Stereo Productions, Tommy Boy, Tweek’d Records, Metropole Casagrande, and Poole
With his ever-congenial manner, Bear always plays nice and makes friends fast – Combined with his passion for music, this city cub is destined to grow and thrive!
